Community Guidelines

Updated September 26, 2026. Every volunteer and staff member agrees to these when they sign up.

• Never ask for or share phone numbers, emails, addresses, or last names.
• Be kind - write the letter you'd want to receive.
• Every letter is printed and handed over by facility staff, and each facility decides how closely letters are read first. Staff can stop any letter, and letters that look like they share contact details are held for a person to read.
• If anything makes you uncomfortable, use the report option right away.
